Resources for Soil Kin

• Soil Structure — Water Permeability ; Gaseous Exchange

• Microbial Food Source — Root exudates via photosynthesizing plants ; Organic Matter

• Microorganisms  – bacteria, fungi, protozoa, nematodes

• Increased Yields of Crops

• Pest & Disease Resiliency

• Nutrient Density of Crops

• Increased Biodiversity

• Improved Water Retention

• Increased Oxygen & Water permeability

• Increased Carbon Sequestration

• Balancing pH of the soil

The soil is an entire ecosystem, and all plant growth is a representation of the health of this underlying system.

When the life within the soil is unbalanced or in a depleted state, this will be directly expressed aboveground.

The essential component of a healthy soil biome are the microorganisms that drive this system, they are the life of the soil.

The habitats we create, and the means by which we support them will determine the health and vitality of this ecosystem.
