the Prophecy of the Stewards of the Seventh Seed
This prophecy (a guiding reflection) was written by Paz Q Rainville. It was inspired and adapted from the works of the Rainbow Warrior prophecy, which was a rendition of an oral history passed through Hopi, Cree, Cherokee, and and Zuni myth. It was captured in written work by William Willoya and Vinson Brown, with controversy arising that this written work was intended as a means of Native American assimilation to Christian worldviews; these accusations fall short in recognizing that variations of this prophecy exist in a wide range of Indigenous stories and histories.
“References to a new Era, a Golden Age characterised by harmony, stability and prosperity, do not just belong to the Native Americans, but can be found in myths and legends from all over the world. It is known as Chryson Genos in Greek mythology, the Kali yuga in Vedic and Hindu culture, and gullaldr in Norse mythology. One aspect that is common among many legends of the Golden era is the return of beings or gods that will aid in the restoration of the Earth.

We begin
As the earth is ravaged & exploited,
When magnitudes of fauna, flora, and people lay displaced & dying,
When fresh waters brown, and forests blacken
amidst the great unbalance fully expressed
a new tribe of people will awaken unto the earth
from all colours, classes, and beliefs
And who by their actions and transformative grief
Shall instigate a re-harmonization
A re-balancing that transcends any nation
They will be known
as The Stewards of the Seventh Seed
The leaders of the people will be chosen not from those who speak the loudest, but by those whose actions speak for them. It will be those who demonstrate their love, wisdom and courage, and that they give themselves to the good of all.
They’ll be held in spirit from ancestors, gurus, and guides;
They’ll be carried with collective momentum from those who exist here & now,
And they will act in selfless service for the 7 generations who shall inherit these earthen legacies & responsibilities.
These people will show that miracles can be accomplished by resources already possessed. They will unearth & nourish the seeds that were laid generations before them. And through determination and dedication, from these seeds a radical regeneration will ensue — towards our maturation of becoming true stewards of this earth and all our relations.
